Biological/Medical and Blood Samples Notification
Please note that special handling requirements are needed to be in compliance with the IATA regulations for sending biological/medical and blood samples as express shipments.

This includes biological material that definitely cannot cause disease.
No special procedures are necessary for these materials, but it is necessary to follow the below packing guidelines: .
 
Examples: purified enzymes, sterilized specimens, non-pathogenic bacteria as well as toxins, antitoxins, vaccines, blood and blood products that are used for transplantation or in a transfusion, but have no probability of producing disease.

1) Absorbent material around the container (if shipping liquid), like Paper Towels, Cellulose Wadding, Cotton Balls, or Super-Absorbent Packet.
2) No loose ice (bricks only) and it is recommended to use sealed ice bags like blue ice containers or gel ice bags
3) Containers must have positive closures (such as screw-on, Snap-On or push-on lids) and the lids must be taped for more security. .
4) The external packing should also be taped properly within the box (no pouches are acceptable), foam or any shock resistant substance should be surrounding the container to eliminate the possibility of container being broken for any reason.

Note:
Dry ice cannot and must not be used as cooling agent since the shipment will be considered dangerous, and hence it will not be acceptable to move under Express mode.
